Lower Leg, Shin Splints

Ouch! Sore shins after increasing mileage. I attribute this to both road and increase. I jumped about 10-12 miles in one week, mostly road/hard surfaces. Now with the knee i think i'll get the need few days off for my shins. Often can 'run through' it. Pain subsides once warmed up.

Stretching and strengthing. Focus on hips and knees. Ceased pavement running. I was shocked at the quick recovery. Pushed it hard on may 18 and things seem fine. Still a little sore but improving greatly.
