L Foot, Plantar Fasciitis

2017-12-31 – 2018-07-22

Grade: 3

Very painful walking early morning, hobbling at start of run, but ok when warmed up. Bought a pair of arch supports from Boots - expensive, but symptoms eased after one day! Painful the day after running. Continuing into second week - I've used ice and massage twice daily (frozen water bottle). Still not ready to run again.
Almost recovered after skiing for a week (March), but still sore after running and while warming up.
Slowly easing as time progresses into May.

Caused by over-use. A week's skiing helped - no impact, and the foot held rigid in the boot. It's not completely gone, but today's run was pain-free.
Still there, but below the level of other aches & pains so it's time to call it recovered. Still wearing arch supports most of the time, and it helps
