R Lower Leg, Shin Splints

First noticed at the end of the 2nd day of the Mourne MM. Seems to be a recurring theme - I need to WARM UP BETTER on the second day, especially calves, to stop this happening!!
I will add some shin stretches to my hip stretching routine in case that helps.

I do remember having a really sore right calf a few days before Mourne; I wonder if that was anything to do with it?
Regardless, it seems to take 18 days for this to recover, this time and last time. Walking around on toes and heels are good strengthening for calves and shins respectively, so will try and do those a lot.
