The Salomon skate boots are biting into the inside of my right ankle, and has rubbed it raw just below the ankle bone. Snow Country doctored up my insoles last year before my Russia trip, and the boots were okay there, but the right one is biting into me again. At Garnet Hill, they gave me blocks of dense foam, so I put that back in. I'm not sure it's helping, but it can't hurt.
Time away from skiing and skiing in the old boots helped to resolve this. I need new "new boots". :-(
