L Foot, Impact wound / trauma

Impact wound on outer side of foot when it was cramped in a crack in the mountain. Half the foot became blue over night. Checked out in morning after, doctor says to rest a few days to make sure the wound settles.
Stil a bit sore when pressing on trauma but no pain when walking or running.
