L Shoulder, Other

2014-04-13 – 2014-10-19

Grade: 3

My left pole got stuck in a pavement crack. Yanked me back full force and dislocated my shoulder. It popped back in as I was rolling into position to get up. A few shock symptoms, woozy and slightly nauseous. After a few minutes sitting in the car and drinking something I felt better and was able to drive myself home. Wen to TRIA to have it checked out. No apparent rotator cuff damage, got an arm sling and a prescription for PT.

Going call this recovered. It's not 100% back to normal but it doesn't bother me much anymore. And I was told that it's never going to back to normal anyway. Doesn't bother me any when poling for Nordic skiing, which is my main activity. Hope to start swimming again, though.
