After the comrades marathon I was given a two week period to recover from shin splints.I had to see a podiatrist to fix my shoes, it costed me R2000 and burnt a big hole in my pocket.Not complaining though as I still enjoy to spend some time on the road.
RICE - Rest, Ice, Compression and Elevation and take some time off to give your body enough time to recover.I've spent the whole month doing absolutely nothing.
