Shin pain - narrowed it down to the muscles pulling the toes. Massaged, bike. Tried running for 30 minutes on thursday, got bad even when walking.
Massaged the knots, stopped walking
MAssaged opposing muscles (calf, etc) and found more knots
started slow easy running 20 June. Pain subsides when warmed up and less severe than last week's 30 min jog. Found tight glutes and hips. Need to massage this as well
cause - change of shoes, getting back to training after a race, tough downhills in training and race
