Bloody hell. Extra long run seemed to just trigger this. Been a month and a half now off running. The pain in the arch and foot has receded almost entirely but the ankle is giving me trouble because of the twisting motion when I walk. Got orthotics which have helped a lot. I think I just need to really take it easy for a while longer :(
Stopped running completely. It's the only way this is going to stop being a problem, I'll try again in 18 months :(
