With both Laura and Maya having had a nasty virus over the last week it was inevitable that I'd soon catch on. I think the 35-hour day (from early Tuesday morning driving to Poole until finally getting some sleep late on Wednesday arvo after Raffy's birth) broke my defences.
Not a great start to my little son's life with me being next to useless with fever, headaches, sore throat, cough, phlegm and loss of appetite. I think I've slept as much as the little man in the last few days.
Admitted defeat on Saturday and accepted medicinal intervention, just so that I'd feel better and could help Laura with everything.
