I slipped on a rock at Boojum. Must have landed with my hip or other hard body part crushing my ring finger tip to a rock. Also cracked the compass capsule, which I did not immediately notice until I was mislocated.
Some bleeding, some swelling, much tenderness.
There is still a tiny bit of swelling, but very little tenderness. The bruise under the nail will resolve over the next 6 months.
