Courses by Mike Minium. After an ice storm overnight on Friday night / Saturday morning, the weather was supposed to warm up to nearly 50. The heat never materialized and it was slightly foggy all day, and warm enough to melt ice off the trees and rain down cold water onto the competitors. The trails were a bit icy and treacherous, but off trails was just crunchy. Times were slow, so there was apparently high gnarliness factor.
