1. +04:00Really stupid... was little thrown by the green in the beginning of the leg. Didn't want to start out by crashing through it, but also didn't want to go around as that way appeared to be too long (it actually wasn't a whole lot further). Started out heading north on the small path, and cut over to the road when I saw it. Saw, but didn't recognize, the small trail leading SW that I had intended to take and headed up the small trail to the NW, thinking that I was on the one leading SW. Didn't check to make sure I was on the trail, even though things didn't really look right. (Only realized that I had headed down the wrong trail when I, after finishing, headed back to try to figure out what I did wrong.) Continued to run as if I were on the trail leading SW, and went well out of the way before making my way back towards the control.
2. A little south heading south out of the woods. Was expecting a more prominent ridge in the clearing for some reason and was a little hesitant as I approached the control.
3.
4. West out of #3, I think, and then more-or-less straight across the field to the control.
5. +00:30Crossed the fence at the trail, then headed north near the ridge with green on the east side. Probably should have stayed further west. Went too far and looked around on the ridge to the north or northwest for a few seconds before looking back and seeing the control.
6. +03:30Not too sure how I missed this one. Thought that I had come in from the north, after quickly heading SW through the detail while leaving #5, and spiked it... until I saw that there wasn't a control around. Was probably too far west, not sure if I crossed the fence further west than I had thought or if I had drifted west while going through the woods after crossing the fence. Looked further west for a bit, then headed back east and came to the hill to the east of the control, and could see the hill on the fence to the west. Realized where I was and proceeded to the control.
7. East to the fence junction, and then ENE towards the control. Crossed the east-west fence just to the east of the scrub, and then went around the north side of the small bit of green that was NE of the scrub.
8. East through the woods and then along the clearing between the two strips of green. Cut over to the NE to go around the north side of the fence bend. Crossed the fence, near where the trail to the south of it started, to avoid climbing high on the ridge. Went through the white depression to the control after crossing the north-south fence.
9. +03:30Another stupid mistake. Took off the for ridge 100 m east of the control, without checking to make sure I was heading the right way. Was a little confused by the re-entrant on the east side of that ridge, but ignored it (and other things that didn't look quite right). Would have just carried along the ridge and realized my mistake when I got to the end of it, but I glanced back NW along the ridge and thought I caught a good glimpse of orange and white. Went back that way, but the control wasn't there. Headed SE along the ridge again. Saw the trail and realized that I was on the wrong ridge.
10. SE to the trail junction. Took the trail to the NE, and headed that way across the field to the road, and came into the control from the SE. Thought that the control was on a spur, and was a little worried when I checked the description and saw that it was on a copse. Might have been a little hesitant and/or slightly off in the control circle, but I spotted the control quickly.
11. Back out to the fence the way I had come in, and along the ridge to the control.
12. Might have been a little slow while going through the two patches of green.
13. Headed SE-ish out of 12, partway up the hill, then east to the control.
14. +00:05Plan was to just head in the general direction of the control and not go through any thick woods or downhill. Ended up going south out of 13 to the field, then west to the control. Rolled under the fence and hurt my leg a little, on the ground apparently, while doing so. Couldn't move quite as fast as I wanted to after that.
