| 1. | P | +00:15 | Used the trail, knew I was cutting off the second at the stone wall and got to the right place but I was unsure of myself (I think the rock was smaller than I was expecting) and not doing a good job of interpreting the green. Lost time but I'm not sure how much. | ||||
| 2. | Went the left trail and planned on going almost all the way on it but then at the junction decided to go straight because the attack is much better just following the hillside. Happy with this choice. Read the green pretty well which was satisfying. I do wonder if it would've been faster to just say screw the trails and go straight all the way. | ||||||

Had no idea where I was when I hit the trail before the swamp so lost some time there, and then didn't know where I was leaving the trail after the swamp so lost some time there again. Figured it out eventually but would have been faster with less drift to the left. | |||
| 4. | R | Feel pretty good about this leg. I think that staying along the bottom of the hill was the right choice because Mori was only 10 seconds ahead of me and he is a much faster runner. | |||||
| 5. | R | Went straight up which seems to be the better of the choices because you got the nasty, rocky uphill over with and got to run over the nice hilltop instead of contouring in the nasty rock still having to keep track of where to go up. | |||||

Small bobble at the top of the hill going too far right - struggled with matching the green up at the bottom. Lost 15 seconds? 20? idk. | ||
| 7. | P | +00:07 | Ok, didn't have enough of a plan, stopped early when I saw the other control on a rock in the flat. Wasn't moving very quickly apparently looking at Livelox. | ||||
