| 4. | What a boner! I was right by the control in good time but I guess I did not see it and I thrashed through an area of green zigging when I should have zagged or stayed on compass. I searched around for some 20 minutes using various false leads as attack points. Ended up thinking I was bailing out to find Control 5 and back track from there. I ran off the map and it took me some more time to relocate. Thankfully there was only one trail with a power line beside it.Once I got to a simple attack point - trail junction it was an easy matter of finding the control right where I had been 32 minutes earlier. | ||||||
