4. | Even though I had seen this one (from a different direction) on the way to #1, I hesitated at the end. | ||||||

6. | Brain ran out of oxygen after I crossed the big trail. Shortly after that I was at the spot where the small trail crosses the stream, but I couldn't make anything match up in my head, even though the control was probably within sight. Basically stood still for a couple of minutes. | ||||||
7. | Amos Meeks caught me here, and I couldn't shake him until after #12, even though I didn't see him between controls. | ||||||
8. | Overall route was good (fairly straight, slightly left of the line in the latter part), but there were some inefficiencies in the details that cost me some time. | ||||||
9. | Halfway my brain ran out of oxygen again, and I stood still trying to figure out which leg I was on. I was where I wanted to be, but couldn't figure out where that was on the map. | ||||||
