UNO Boulder Dash: Green M Day 2

GlenT

1. Trail.
2. Along the wall to trail crossing then slant downhill to marsh edge and along marsh to control.
3. Along marsh to wall (which I saw in the terrain before noticing it on the map!) then along wall to junction and follow marsh into flag.
4. +00:30Follow wall south (uphill) to pick up trail to bend. Across reentrant, spur, marsh and uphill. Pushed a bit left by spur so checked a few boulders N of the one the bag was on.
5. Just N of the line, up the hill and follow reentrant out to the trail. Trail to bend the west side of rocky groyund and follow reentrant S to control.
6. Straight, making sure I was the right distance S of the marsh after crossing the trail.
7. N to the indistinct trail and between the walls on the ridge to hit the trail after getting into the white woods.
8. Across the road, trail WNW to corner, above the big cliff to the big boulder mapped as a dot knoll with a cliff.
9. +00:20Dropped to trail and followed bearing from corner. Got a bit too high but spotted the flag about 20m to my right.
10. +01:00Dropped down to the trail, intending to take the second trail south. Somehow didn't see the first trail (and apparently the stone wall) and ended out in the flat area west of the trail (where Brown had a control on the marsh) Headed south and hit the E-W trail at the indistinct trail (which didn't look all that indistinct). A bit of head scratching and started west and spotted the ditch. Followed ditch to the first marsh, west of that one and to the second marsh and control.
11. +04:00North on compass, along the boundary. Crossed trail just east of the bend and continued on compass to the trail end, probably passing through the form line depression the bag was supposed to be in (saw a streamer but didn't check for a number). Wandered a bit to the north, out to the trail to the west and attacked again from the marsh next to that trail. Missed again. Went to the trail end and followed the compass about twice as far as the depression and spotted a faded bag hanging in an some vegetation. Bag was probably in the reentrant S of the mapped depression.
12. Trails back through the ropes course and out to the field.
F. Saw that I might be able to break an hour so put the hammer down. 2 seconds to spare.
