| 2. | Stayed right, only in green for about 50 meters. | ||||||
| 3. | Left of line, slow getting up hill. Caught Stanislav. | ||||||
| 4. | Went right over Grape Swamp Mt., a little right would have been better (Stanislav got ahead going there). | ||||||
| 5. | Nailed it, Stanislav off to the right, Tim Good coming in from the left. | ||||||

| 7. | Up the hill a bit, then angled right through the scattered laurel. Will Hawkins came cruising by and in all the excitement I just about emasculated myself on fallen log. Used the Steve Hale WOC93 route through the green (along the top of the sloping ledge). Stanislav passed me just before the control as I was feeling feeble and walking a bunch. | ||||||
| 8. | Just slightly left of the line, nice forest the last 500 meters (except for the last 50). | ||||||
| 9. | Out to the road, saw Will on his way to 11. | ||||||

| 11. | Trail/road around to the right. Sergei was just leaving as I got there. He was out of sight in about 30 seconds! | ||||||

| 13. | Wiggled through the green, not so bad, but had no energy walking all the way up the hill. | ||||||
| 14. | By the women's control at the marsh, left of the green before the control. | ||||||
| 15. | Fading physically.... but overall a good run(walk). | ||||||
