1. | I had to be confident enough not to bite on flag that was on white course. I took it more to left that I planned originally because it did not look runnable going straight.
2. | Somehow I was tempted to go to right but left option was faster
3. | pretty much straight forward - running leg
4. | key was to exit previous flag in the right direction to shave a second
5. | I felt that right option was shorter then left
6. | key for this leg was to stay close to red line as much as possible because it was tempting to lean to left.
7. | I briefly considered going white right to pick up trail-head but I looked ahead and thought that I could save few seconds by going straight. Trail was not runnable and disappeared in few sport but I figured as long as I keep it straight I should be fine.
8. | straight forward running however I started to have hard time pushing speed.
9. | when I was pre-viewing this leg I considered going wide right and go up on yellow strip but once I got to #8 I concluded that white is runnable and went straight. I ended up just a little bit on left - probably this was poorest executed leg on this course.
10. | straight forward running but I have noticed that when legs are shut it sends signals to my head creating confusion that maybe I am not doing it right and I might be making a mistake and I should stop and double check everything.
11. | hugged green blubber going on right
F. | Almost there but I was looking for every opportunity to stay close to red line as possible. |
