1. 368m 3:14 5 +54 39% 79.4 8:47   368m 3:14 5 +54 39% 8:47 Trail to just past the stone wall. Then straight.
2. 143m 2:19 7 +51 58% 78.9 20 16:12   511m 5:33 5 +1:45 46% 10:51 Right of line, then crossing to left of line to check out a flag on a knoll that I knew was too soon, blowing 20 seconds. Lack of confidence.
3. 337m 3:45 4 +42 23% 89.3 11:07   848m 9:18 4 +2:27 36% 10:58 A little left of line down through the laurel, then a bit of trail, then around the marsh.
4. 221m 4:16 9 +2:31 144% 46.4 1:45 1:43 19:18   1069m 13:34 7 +4:58 58% 12:41 Ugly. Stopped a bit short (neither feature or flag was visible from 30 meters), was sure I had gone too far, started back towards a knoll with a flag that I knew was too far back, but had to check it out, then I knew which knoll I was on and retraced my steps. (Rocky ground and marsh didn't seem to be mapped right?)
5. 503m 4:49 3 +1:13 34% 88.6 9:34   1572m 18:23 6 +6:11 51% 11:41 I left the trail near the boulder, crossed stone wall in the middle, to reentrant, to boulder.
6. 83m 54 4 +16 42% 80.2 10:50   1655m 19:17 6 +6:27 50% 11:39 Straight!
7. 225m 2:39 10 +1:06 71% 65.8 11:46   1880m 21:56 6 +7:33 52% 11:40 A bit left along the knoll, then corrected right to it.
8. 236m 3:16 7 +36 23% 86.6 20 13:50   2116m 25:12 5 +8:09 48% 11:54 Around the marsh to the left, getting one foot soaked. Came in right over the dot knoll ( I thought), but flag was a bit to the left.
9. 262m 2:22 5 +37 35% 76.1 9:01   2378m 27:34 5 +8:46 47% 11:35 Pretty straight.
10. 364m 5:09 9 +2:22 85% 60.5 40 1:08 14:08   2742m 32:43 5 +11:08 52% 11:55 Got too far left and almost went on the wrong side of the finger of water. Then went through some thick vegetation and missed a bit left.
11. 277m 2:57 3 +44 33% 87.6 10:38   3019m 35:40 4 +8:05 29% 11:48 Started right of line. Had a bit of trouble making sense of the stone walls, but when I hit the trail, I was dead on.
12. 337m 3:35 4 +46 27% 89.3 10:37   3356m 39:15 5 +13:23 52% 11:41 Followed the line across the trail, between the marshes, over the stone wall, and nailed it. (But maybe should have gone left more at the start to avoid some climb.)
13. 338m 3:12 5 +55 40% 85.2 9:28   3694m 42:27 5 +14:18 51% 11:29 Left of line along the stone wall, across the open area, crossing the stream below the damn, and came in a tad right.
14. 263m 2:41 6 +42 35% 77.6 10 10:12   3957m 45:08 5 +15:00 50% 11:24 Crossed the stream right of line, then climbed out of the vegetation and parallelled the stream right to it. (But, again, wasted 10 seconds checking out another course's control that I knew wasn't - or shouldn't be - mine.)
15. 159m 2:08 5 +50 64% 76.8 13:25   4116m 47:16 5 +15:50 50% 11:29 I had had enough of these woods, so I went around on the trail. Probably a few seconds slower.
16. 240m 2:32 8 +56 58% 67.3 10:33   4356m 49:48 5 +16:46 51% 11:25 The huge trash dump and earth bank wasn't on the map. I climbed over it, then angled back down and swung around to the right to the depression.
17. 187m 3:01 11 +1:41 126% 52.3 45 59 16:07   4543m 52:49 6 +18:27 54% 11:37 Ugly. Plan was just a rough compass bearing to the road or trail, but I got caught up in awful vegetation, which pushed me left of line, then I climbed up, overcompensating, going right of line, then I came in to the trail with the go control fairly close to it, but was confused and briefly turned the wrong way, wasting another 20 seconds before retracing.
18. 52m 10 7 +4 67% 60.0 3:12   4595m 52:59 7 +18:31 54% 11:31 My split was 5.4, but I think I punched it while on the run coming in. It was probably about 10.
