1. 825m 6:22 2 +37 11% 98.6 7:43   825m 6:22 2 +37 11% 7:43 Didn't want to go over the top of the hill, so went around right. Hit a bit low and had to climb slightly to avoid steep contouring / green.
2. 1380m 7:44 2 +11 2% 101.7 5:36   2205m 14:06 2 +3 0% 6:23 Dogleg.
3. 205m 1:26 4 +19 28% 83.7 6:59   2410m 15:32 2 +21 2% 6:26 A bit too careful.
4. 420m 3:36 5 +58 37% 76.2 30 47 8:34   2830m 19:08 3 +1:19 7% 6:45 Did not read the map well, and almost went too far East. Corrected before descending from the hill above.
5. 1040m 12:11 3 +1:03 9% 95.2 11:42   3870m 31:19 3 +2:22 8% 8:05 I didn't want to climb the steep hill in the terrain, because I was worried about loose footing. Hence, I went around right on the road, cutting off a little bit of climb near the top.
6. 445m 3:57 4 +43 22% 82.3 15 37 8:52   4315m 35:16 3 +3:05 10% 8:10 Confused by all the logging roads.
7. 820m 7:05 4 +51 14% 91.6 8:38   5135m 42:21 4 +3:56 10% 8:14 No reason to go around the hill, so over and contourish down to the road. Ran up the road a bit, but not all the way. May have been a good idea, because I ended up close to the road before swinging back left down into the reentrant.
8. 1275m 10:27 3 +44 8% 97.6 8:11   6410m 52:48 3 +4:40 10% 8:14 Nice course setting! One might be tempted to cross to the nearest road, but that incurs unnecessary climb. Instead I went down the spur to the small trail that turns into a road. Then shortly after the T-junction, I cut across rather than running on the road all the way. Not necessarily any faster, but saved a bit of distance.
9. 490m 3:54 4 +38 19% 91.5 7:57   6900m 56:42 3 +4:50 9% 8:13 Easy.
10. 875m 4:56 1 -3 -1% 101.0 5:38   7775m 1:01:38 3 +4:47 8% 7:55 Over the top of the hill, then carefully down - many shallow reentrants!
11. 1180m 11:51 6 +3:45 46% 68.6 3:30 3:31 10:02   8955m 1:13:29 4 +8:32 13% 8:12 Missed high, probably because I was tired and scared of going too low on the hill and having to climb. Met Mikell as I was running into it - Magnus was also approaching.
12. 410m 2:57 1 -7 -4% 105.5 7:11   9365m 1:16:26 4 +8:10 12% 8:09 Straight, aiming a bit left.
13. 580m 3:20 2 +16 9% 99.2 5:44   9945m 1:19:46 4 +7:59 11% 8:01 Mikell and Magnus went straight, whereas I cut to the road. Magnus was 14 second quicker, but I came to the control from above.
14. 275m 2:38 1 -5 -3% 107.0 9:34   10220m 1:22:24 3 +7:31 10% 8:03 After having decended to 14, I was able to start running up towards 14, whereas Magnus groaned and walked initially. Mikell was 30-40m ahead of us.
15. 750m 4:39 1 -22 -7% 106.1 6:12   10970m 1:27:03 3 +7:02 9% 7:56 Magnus picked a straighter route than me through the field, and gained a few more seconds.
16. 270m 1:31 2 +4 5% 104.8 5:37   11240m 1:28:34 3 +6:56 8% 7:52 Contoured.
17. 810m 6:33 3 +41 12% 95.3 8:05   12050m 1:35:07 3 +7:22 8% 7:53 Saw Magnus dropping left, and Mikell climbing right. Decided to follow Mikell, because it would be better to descend on the control from the top. In retropsect, I think it would have been better to avoid the extra climb, since I was getting pretty tired. By the time I got to this control, I could not see either Magnus nor Mikell anymore.
18. 605m 4:19 3 +5 2% 99.0 7:08   12655m 1:39:26 3 +7:27 8% 7:51 The course setter had put my last leg right on the trail where lots of little children were running white and/or yellow. I tried to avoid killing any of them as I sprinted down the hill.
19. 435m 2:30 5 +22 17% 86.0 5:44   13090m 1:41:56 3 +7:46 8% 7:47 Streamered run.
