At the Freedom Center, all classes are included, so, on the spur of the moment, I decided to join the Step class for the first time. It did not go well, at least for me. The warm up was what I was expecting for later on. There was no way I could do the moves she was doing, at the pace, sight unseen. So, I went back to the original plan of machines. Much happier. Then I headed to the pool for a swim...no suit, and wearing loose shorts, so I didn't want to swim "floaties". Have swam in bike shorts and bra before, but not these shorts. So headed home with mixed feelings about the effort.

But, later in the day I got to go over to the new neighbor's house and use my chainsaw and the burn barrel. That went really well, in at least no blood was drawn. There was the matter of the little brush fire, when some embers hopped out of the barrel, but after we put that out, and then covered the area in straw, it looked like we never wrecked potential havoc in the back of their brand new house...

So, an interesting day for sure.

Walked the perimeter of the lot, without Pepper, to see what the distance of the loop is. Nicely comes out to .5 miles, and it would be good to do more of these, especially since the uphills felt like more work than they should have.
