Last real leg stretch before Sunday starting to brick it a bit. Calf seems to be behaving and pace felt comfortable. Would be nice if legs felt ever so slightly fresher but still time.

Easy run on the Moor with a couple of strides to finish, nice in the sun.

Feeling good in the legs though calf still a bit tight from yesterday.

Whitley Bay PR - 18:27

The days are ticking down and the load is reducing, legs generally felt good though left calf was a bit tight and pulling a little on the run to Spanish City as I was having to pace it as running very late again. Eased back straight away and seemed to loosen off somewhat though a little cautious the rest of this.
Aimed to keep parkrun easy and controlled at Marathon pace and after some early jockeying settled down nicely and felt great at 3:40/km before jogging it in.

Then a bit of a cruisey jog with Em and Jayne for part up to St Mary's Lighthouse to look at the seals before heading back to the car via the Branch Line. A little windy in general but pleasant day. Brunch then sea dip at Cullercoats afterwards.
