Met up with Lovisa and Kristin at the Norbyspåret hill for some plyometrics. Didn't feel too hard, but we will see how I feel tomorrow. I enjoyed the chatting and catching up :)

Ross came home early so that I could get out and run. It's dawning on me that I start work again in about a month, so I feel like I need to take advantage of all the exercise time I can get now.

Tisdagsbana P, 11.7km course. I don't think I can call this orienteering because I was really just following the group. A larger group tonight of about 10 of us running through the forest. At times it felt quite fast, but it wasn't too hard to keep up. At the end in Norbyskoggen I found myself in the lead, simply because I have run on those small trails enough times coming back from tisdagsbana that I know where they go even without the map.
Sofie was quietly playing and listening to a story downstairs when I got home. Ross was upstairs putting Ella to bed. It was so cute to see her playing by herself. Usually I have her watch something to keep her busy when I have to put Ella down for a nap, but she's getting older and more independent.
After I picked Sofie up from preschool today I biked with the kids to the lake (9 minute bike ride from preschool). We walked along the boardwalk, which is a great activity in the sun. But this was my first time going "hiking" alone with two kiddos who can walk. Ella walks quickly on the boardwalk, but as soon as there is dirt or grass she loves to pick up all of it. Sofie is actually really patient and does not mind running back and forth and also stopping to pick things up. Having the double stroller was necessary, as then any child who wanted to could climb in. Also have lots of snacks helped too. We didn't go far, Ella tried to run away the wrong way a few times, Sofie bit Ella's fingers when Ella tried to take her carrot... not perfect but by my standards it was really successful! 16 minutes to bike back home. Legs were so, so tired biking both ways. I obviously do not have strong biking muscles right now. And the kids are heavy :)

Took Lisa out on my favorite loop! She biked to my place and we ran together. It was a bit more muddy than yesterday as things melt more. We ran to the horse pasture behind KG to meet our families and a few others for some hanging out outside. It was wonderful to get the group back together again and hang out now that the weather is a bit warmer. The clouds hung around longer than we wanted, but the sun came out eventually. So wonderful to see people.

Ross ran there with the girls in the stroller, so we all ran home again. Both kiddos fell asleep and it was adorable. Sofie now insists that she hasn't fallen asleep when she takes these short naps. It makes me laugh :)
