Ugh. Swings and roundabouts.
Did a fair bit of running yesterday at ARK and the legs were feeling good, so I attempted a class today with running....
Less than 1km worth and start to feel the old calf sensation.
Stopped immediately and only some mild soreness that has nearly gone 4 hour later.
I guess road running is forbidden from now one. I'll try to hide my disappointment.

Life's a little less hectic, time to start squatting on the regular.
3x5 front squat: 135, 155, 175lb

Had my 1 year skin check today. Nothing new needing to be cut out, so it's a good day.

Now time for workout #4.
10 C&J @ 135 felt easy.
10 C&J @ 185 also felt shockingly easy
I haven't power cleaned 225 in a number of years and it felt like a house. Took 4 minutes to grind out 2.

One to go.

Aaaand QF#3 - all the gymnastic stuff. 4 rounds + 1 strictly.
Happy to get it all done by the deadline. Hopefully next year isn't the same weekend as a Raid.

Snuck into Alchemy to knock of QF workout #2 aka the misery of burpees and wall balls.
It was getting pretty late in the day so I toyed with the idea of submitting a score I was sure I could hit before the deadline and doing it later - but decided to go with the spirit of the competition and just misery through it.
I was sure I could do 2 full rounds easily.
We full robot and slowly ginded my way through do 2 rounds + 3 reps. But it was not easy.
Sisyphus would call this workout repetitive.
