4x 400m with maybe somewhere around 375m rest. The idea was to not run too hard before the weekend and do some running at a faster pace (and also not in the forest).
Just running in the 3rd lane of the local short track. Taking the rest nice and slow in ~2:25 and reps in 72-69s.

Very enjoyable training with Järla. 4 loops: 2 compass focused loops with just a few features left on the map, and then 2 ordinary courses. I started with the reduced loops and switched between the two types from there. Some nice dark, foggy forest by the end, and orienteering doesn't get much better than that.

Taking my sweet time loosening up my legs, as they were quite stiff from yesterday and presumably the night before that as well.
orienteering - Quality race 38:06 [4] 7.49 km (5:05 / km)
Måsenstafetten leg 2. 13th place on my leg +3:39 on Simon Imark's time. I think Viktor Svensk ran the 3rd leg a little faster in about 34 mins.
17th place for Växjö OK after an average, or solid enough performance from Växjö OK. I don't think Linus was entirely satisfied with his race, Hugo was happy with his race considering some days sick leading up to the race, and Noel was satisfied with his.
I'm quite happy with my race. A good technical performance with only a couple small mistakes (can't be more than 45s in total). On the physical side, my legs were shot before and after, but I seemed to be moving well.
Very fun race though where there were lots of people around me 75% of the time. The section from 1 to 6 was quite nice, where no one seemed to have the same forking, but everyone was running somewhere.

Some o-intervals in Paradiset. Split the short course into 3 intervals and gave 3 mins rest after each. Still some common legs from the long course I had run with Järla in February, however quite tired towards the end of that training day so the course wasn't etched into my memory too well.
Not orienteering particular well, but not horrendous. Feeling quite groggy from last night. One poor execution of a long leg. Need to improve on simplifying these detailed areas and flow with the terrain more. Maybe splitting the long leg into mini legs will help with this in the future?

Nyköpingnatten. MP.
Not a great start to the evening when I just missed my train to Nyköping. I ended up arriving in Nyköping at 19:43, and at the arena at 19:55. Thankfully the start was in the arena so there wasn't too far to go.
The course was 3 forked loops where you would do an arena passage in between and grab a new map each time. A fun and chaotic format. The race wasn't great, but there was still some positives in my night orienteering. I made some key mistakes on the first loop and lost the front pack early. Also, I learned I skipped a control upon finishing and mispunched so not ideal either.
I'm quite happy with some portions of my orienteering though. In general I orienteer too slowly at night, and I felt like I was orienteering quicker and being more decisive in my plans tonight. In particular, the last loop went quite well.
