Five Sprint events in San Francisco, structured as follows:

Friday 15:30 first start: Interval starts and O USA A event, Land's End (slightly expanded map; mixed forest/urban)
Saturday 09:30 first start: IOF-style (xc-skiing rules) Elimination Tournament quarterfinals, Golden Gate Park (expanded map; mostly 2011 terrain; 100% forest)
Saturday 11:30 first start: Elimination Tournament semifinals. Golden Gate Park (entirely new map; 100% forest)
Saturday 14:30 first start: Elimination Tournament Final, Golden Gate Park (50% new—50% existing map; 100% forest)
Sunday 09:30 first start: Interval starts and O USA A event, SF State University (existing map; 100% urban)

instead of the 2× Sprints at GG Park, an interval-start, Orienteering USA-ranked Middle also at GG Park (first start at 10:00).

The Elimination Tournament will admit exactly 36 runners. Brackets will be published Friday after the prologue at Land's End.
