...introducing a new course for 'Runners' this year. It is a Long Intermediate Course which will be about 9km in length.
I estimate that it would take a strong runner and orienteer about 1hr to finish this, so I am estimating average time to be over 90min assuming finding the controls are not that difficult. They are all within 5m-100m off trail at major features (i.e. hill tops, clearings). It will be a good workout.
You can always choose the 5km intermediate route if you don't want to feel pressed for time and take your time with the navigation.

****Special note for novice competitors****
There will be a 750m car shuttle to the start line as the Novice course is not a loop. If you have a child that requires a car seat that we can't take from your car, you have 3 options:
1/ Take your car to the start line and we will shuttle you back to get your car after the race
2/ We can drive your car back from the start line after we drop you off
3/ We can do a double shuttle if you don't want anyone to drive your car and still have your car at the finish line
We don't want you to walk as it's a 750m walk on the 105 and we want this Start Location as we really like this route for you.
