Open Streets is a community-based outdoor event where a long stretch of road is closed to motorized vehicular traffic. The only traffic allowed is pedestrian, bicycles, unicycles, human-powered scooters, rollerskates, rollerskis, baby strollers, wheelchairs. Several interactive activities will be offered from 9 AM to 1 PM in various locations, such as Yoga, Zumba, quiz shows, Ciclo-cross. The Western Pennsylvania Orienteering Club will volunteer to provide an orienteering course in nearby Arsenal Park. Meeting point is 39th St and Butler St.
We will be offering a fun and easy scavenger-hunt style map-based orienteering activity during #OpenStreetsPGH in Lawrenceville neighborhood Arsenal Park on Sunday June 30, 2019.
