This event is on a new map made by Greg Walker 1:500, 2.5 m contours, August 2016.
Parlee Beach Provincial Park, New Brunswick, Canada is the most popular ocean beach in the Maritime provinces for swimming and now Orienteering NB brings you a sprint experience where sand meets sea.
The map may be small but the soft sand running will make it seem like forever between some of the controls. We start relatively early Saturday morning so that participants will benefit from the free early bird park entry before 9 a.m. Dunes have protective snow fencing around fragile areas.
