The annual StepTrek on the South Side Slopes of city of Pittsburgh will occur on Saturday October 3, from 11 AM to 4 PM. It is a non-competitive urban walking tour, featuring the public steps of the city. Two routes will be offered, the "west" route and the "east" route.

To enrich the event, the Western Pennsylvania Orienteering Club has produced a map will place 10 controls along the east route of the event, and have a few printed maps available. Control cards will also be made available for those that wish to use the puncher and to punch the respective box in the control card.
