6 hour Elite & 3 hour Sport Adventure Races

The Mud Slide AR is back in 2014 with a whole new look and feel. We're once again taking the adventure over to the west coast of Florida to tackle the best parts of the state.

The T Mabry Carlton, Jr. Memorial Reserve will be the backdrop for these 6 hour and 3 hour jaunts and there's no telling where your trip will go. The reserve has more than eighty miles of hiking trails with diverse natural communities including dry prairie, pine flatwoods, mesic hammocks and seasonal wetlands.

Lending a hand with the design is map maker and orienteer Gord Hunter. Gord has a 43 year history in orienteering and has won 23 different national championship races in different age classes in Canada. He works with Florida Orienteering and, with help, put together the beautiful Lake Louisa maps many of you have seen.

With his aid we expect to have great success mapping out this vast venue. This is a great opportunity to take on a new special pocket of Florida and we hope to see you there.
