• You will paddle four lakes and two river systems.
• You will face up to 19 portages.
• You will navigate using only topographic maps, compass, and grid coordinates.
• No racing hulls: Only watercraft designed and proven for wilderness tripping.

Muskoka River X, You will be completely self-sufficient.
• You will carry all equipment, nutrition, and hydration required for the entire race.
• You will carry mandatory supplies for an extra 24 hours of wilderness survival.
• No outside assistance.
• No support teams.
• No re-supplies.
