It seems like I'm leaving. Come celebrate my departure at an unAmerican wake. Food, drink, orienteering, fun, games, floorspace... furniture for sale... apartment to rent!

Friday, I would suggest parking on the Blue Mtn end of Fremont St, near my place, and then walking into town to find the group. 9142579948.

Saturday morning, meet up 9.30 here - in the Pelton Pond carpark for some orienteering. I'll prepare longer and shorter courses. I'm not sure how my heel is, so you may have to help put out streamers.

Then go swimming... I'm not sure what Canopus Lake is like, but Pelton Pond it's forbidden. Beaver Pond is only a jog away - http://photos1.blogger.com/blogger/5962/2175/1600/... right up at the very north, and it's lovely. There's a shorter route to the pond along the Charcoal Burners Trail, parking on Rt 301.

Lunch at El Conquistador in Peekskill, 12.30ish.

Then shower/coma/nap at 302 Fremont.

Blue Mtn orienteering 3 or 4pm? There will be easier and harder. Followed by potluck/bbq/beer/games/...

Maybe start Friday evening with a pub-crawl/alc-o (and food?) in town, then Sat morning O in Fahnestock, a swim to cool down, afternoon Blue Mountain orienteering (beginners welcome) with bbq or potluck or some such in the late afternoon/evening. And more fun on Sunday.
