One problem with befriending a bunch of Canadians is that all of them at NAOC will say that you're no good so that you won't be on a team (better for them).
Or they'll be polite and say that you're good (which you are), but the team selectors will just think that they are being polite about everyone ("Yeah, that Pink Socks guy is good too, eh?"), and you won't end up on a team, either.
Best bet is to just throw down haymakers and win the sprint!

I'm going to want each letter of the acronym to be symbolized by a different colour on our jerseys - G for Goldenrod, N for Navy, A for Auburn, etc. etc. The swooshier the better.
