The time was drifting on the leg 7 split (124). I just left mine out. Some folks will have an independent measure of their time here though.

I'll postulate that the clock on control #124 was exactly 8 minutes slow (based on comparison with the splits from my watch). So try subtracting 8 minutes from your #7 split and adding 8 minutes to your #8 split, and see if that gives you something plausible.

I thought that Eric Bone and Ed White had compared their #7 splits and found that the offset was "drifting" with time, as they each had a different offset. Is that correct? Maybe you guys can post your offsets and we can compare with jj's.

Could be. Based on what I've recently learned about how the SI stuff is set up, it may be more likely that the clock in that station was running at the wrong speed. If I can get another data point (like Eric's split from his dipstick), I'll make an assumption that it was linear and put together a correction formula. If I get two data points, I'll be able to determine if it really is linear.
