Good news. Do you need to identify and eliminate the source of the stress?
We think the cause was the increase in interval training I did before easter. Turns out I'm too old and fragile to do binge interval training anymore. doh.

Be careful! Jules had a stress fracture in the navicular last year and it took pretty much a year to recover!

Thanks Fel, given how long it took Jules to get over his stressie I'm pretty wary about this one. I've talked to a few physios and podiatrists about it and the consensus seems to be that because its only a minor stress reaction so far then it should resolve fairly well as long as I'm sensible... unfortunately sensible isn't something I'm good at. What level of pain/discomfort had his reduced to before it was ok enough to start training again?
Clare - yes - ride/spin and swim/water run are all ok, except that I have ekka-ebola and can't do anything. Will let you know when I'm less sick.
Good good. Maintain quarantine until Ebola free then we shall do something. UQ has water running belts and happy to do laps whilst you run. I hear it's fun however my experience is otherwise.
Maybe a mixture of swimming and water running will be required to avoid complete boredom.
