... but at least you'll get to the bottom of it. Megan says triple decaf macchiatos help with the coffee withdrawals.
that totally doesn't solve the caffeine issue though... and I'm not even really meant to have decaf.
I am allowed to have dairy, but surely the only point of milk is to add to coffee?
I think they call that the "no fun" diet :( Hope it works out what's up with you.
Herbal tea? Any sort of beverage that the bean may sell?
no teas either - I think the whole concept of tea is pretty much a no go given that it extracts all the tasty chemicals out of the leaf/fruit/herb which is what I'm trying to avoid.
tapering the coffee - skipped yesterday arvo and had a half strength one this morning, but still have a cracking headache today.
I feel your pain. The last time I went cold turkey on caffeine was walking the Overland Track with Susanne in 2003. Had a headache the whole time, but that could have been due to pack-carrying!
I think the decaf was a conscious attempt at self-deception. Let me know if you want to borrow the white diet cookbook. PS. I hope you like cabbage ...
the white cookbook could be quite useful - thanks! I've got the handbook on order (they didn't have any left at the clinic), but it doesn't tell you how to make things less boring!
