yeah, I'm feeling pretty positive about it all now - its getting fixed and there's still plently of time before woc. a mid season rest should also give the other accumulated niggles a chance to get better too.

Good luck for tomorrow. Sounds like it will be a speedy recovery. I was very pleasantly surprised how soon I was able to run again after arthroscopy on my knee last year. You'll probably come back even more inspired from having a little break.

how long have you been having problems? Do you have any pics of the surgery or MRI?

the first time I noticed that my knee wasn't all good about a week before easter - but I just thought I'd irritated the patella tendon, and it was better after I iced it. stayed about the same for ages - just got a bit puffy after a big run, but nothing that bothered me too much. then about 2 weeks ago it got quite sore - and sharp pain for the first time after a long run, and then 2 days later it was too painful to run... next day I was at the physio and on my way to getting it fixed. I don't have any photos of the surgery (and my knee looks really boring now). I might try scanning the mri, or taking a picture of it...(would that work?).
