Bowling will be starting at 4pm at Brunswick Blue Hen Lanes in Newark. The address is 501 Newark shopping centers, 19711. Participants are welcome to start early, but must notify me of their 3-person teams.

Congratulations to the New England Orienteering Club, whose teams placed first and second in the 2014 NABOCC! Attendance was relatively light, presumably because many clubs were intimidated by the Boston representations. Official scores to be published shortly.

Results:
1. NEOC - Phil Bricker, Patrick McNeal
2. NEOC - Bo Nielsen, Tim Parson, Dave Yee
3. CSU - Ian Smith, Izzy Bryant
DSQ. DVOA

DVOA was explicitly disqualified for not showing up. The "Be the Ball" Award for team spirit and sportsmanship is awarded to Cascade Orienteering Club, for passionately and collectively expressing dismay at missing the incredibly well-advertised NABOC Championships.

Next year CAOC will be back. So just a warning to practice, practice, practice. Looking forward to seeing the scores.

You won't be intimidated.

...practice, practice, practice

I've got that one down pretty good. I need to work on the round where the score actually counts.
