I had some - thanks for putting it there.

My course had two, but only needed the first one. They were both close to tracks which presumably you drove to (although lucky the river wasn't high). Looking at all the courses you probably didn't need any at 116.

The rule is approx. every 25 mins on courses with a 30 min + winning time. Looking at all the courses, you didn't need to have water at 116. Instead of water at 121 you could have placed it at an extra control after 121, say at the termite mound on Pony Road without adding much length or otherwise compromising the courses. I don't know where the other drops were, but I'd always look at options like the one I just described.

I'd have preferred if you got rid of controls 112, 115, 117, 118 and 120 and replaced them with a control on the rock at the north end of the map (hidden by the map title), a water drop (with no CP) on the Great Southern Hwy and a bouncy castle over where the trail bikers were.

Under the 25 minute rule, wouldn't Bryce need a water drop at every second control?

In fairness I didn't drink at first station drank at second - wish there was another one after the long leg west but survived without it.

I agree it was a bit more than necessary but better that way than running out. We could drive fairly close to them and that was entirely intentional - although I chickened out of driving up the track to 116 the first time only to do it about an hour later after I had picked Dave up.
