I hope you didn't have a map with you or find any pink tapes!

Well at 20km he's only done the short course and surprisingly it looks like he may have only gone past one tape (since I hadn't put the others out).

If you only went past one of your tapes, then there are plenty more out there.

Given I managed to go straight out to Nettelton Rd, then bush bashed back in to a track, I obviously (hopefully) didn't have a map, also managed to get out to the farmland on the west side later on.

And I didn't go near the advertised Manjedal and Cornation St areas.

Not that I'm getting all defensive or anything.

Well there isn't much at Manjedal. Actually there's nothing since it's out of bounds but I call the north part of the map Manjedal and you'll get to go out there for an explore.

Also Coronation Rd map has a new name since I spent so much freaking time mapping it - it's now called Alcoa Hilltop :-) (there may or may not be a hill there)

.. there may or not be an Alcoa there, maybe just a road. I think the hill is (was) now holding the can of coke I just drank.

This map better give me the best route ever from home to Serpentine via Langford Park.

Alcoa used to mine aluminium there, so the internet tells me. I thought it was an apt name utilising both history and a landform feature.

they mine bauxite - aluminium comes much later in the process

I reminisce fondly about other people's times spent working at Jarrahdale.
