Took me about 10min to sign up and log in with a browser that the thing worked properly on. And then the tedium of waiting for all those stupid slides ...
I've heard of enough problems from enough people (and had enough myself) to see fit to wield the (virtual) presidential pen.
At least the help email guy Chris is really good and fixing stuff quite quickly... Not that he should need to.
I've also heard of people saying that they are going to not run elites for the rest of the year rather than having to do the test!
I've spoken to a few intermittent elite runners in Qld who are very put off by the idea of having to do it, just so they can make up numbers in NOL. It seems reasonable for the national teams (and maybe even national squads) to do something like this, but its not going to help NOL numbers from the bottom half of the field.
Does it also mean that we no longer have the option of pulling in a junior or age group runner to make up numbers in a relay if they haven't done the tests?
It seems a bit OTT to get all worked up over the prospect of most of our "elite" field going to the effort of cheating when the logistics of just making it to a NOL race with enough training is as much as most of us can manage.
Hmm I might put it off for another week or two... :s
