Did you know Anna is in Rochester looking at colleges? She was wined and dined at U. of R. yesterday, and did a workout with the RIT track team today.

Would this be a good time to start up a friendly U of R vs RIT smackdown session?

These are two NY schools. It's kind of like debating whether to choose pig tripe or sheep tripe, when you could be having some good home cooked grits with a pat of butter instead. Yum!

Hey, its UPSTATE New York :).

And who would trust eating 'grits' in Wyoming? Sounds as suspicious as "Rocky Mountain oysters".

Hmm, "wine and dine" at UR versus "run laps" at RIT. UR vs RIT - is this a trick question?

All in fun. : ) Though you can, still to this day, find some islands of old south left where grits are taken as serious business.

They have a track at RIT? Is it brick?

No, but as I recall, it is a brickish color. All my PR's under 10K were set on that track. You get used to the bricks after a few months and don't even notice them.

As for grits, they aren't that popular in Rochester (although you can get them easy enough), but in Buffalo, they are quite common.

Yeah, that's what they say about the gray skies, too. ;-)

Anna loved the Graphic Design school and track team at RIT. That and WashU are now her top choices. I hope ROC has some good terrain.
