I don't think Peter Goodwin is really under 18. :-)
Speaking of ages. When I'm 70 I figure the only way I'm going to end up out in the woods is if someone forgets to lock the door to my room. And yet I look over the results and see 5, count 'em: 5, entrants in M70+, and another 2 in F70+. Pretty impressive. Well done, folks!
JanetT, you have to admit he did well! Unfortunate he picked up the wrong map!
DSW54, George Wood our M75+ winner is also one of our local Meet Directors!
Great job, as always, GAOC. Thanks for a fun weekend (especially the weather !)
hoping to see some Extreme-O results and photos soon! It was a blast!
Second motion here, great event, all controls in the right spot, map was good (as far as I can tell w/ my limited skill). Terrain was good and variate, but very slow (which did help me in my stats, as no-one could really run). I think GA has some more runnable woods, I don't remeber where exactly. Thanks again!
The Extreme-O, my first, was SO MUCH FUN! I really appreciated the considerate amount of planning and combo of all kind of events (the combo on same map of aerial and topo, plotting, picture orienteering!). I was not a big fan of the culverts.cave crawl, thanks God my husband agreed to go get those :). Really like the option of the rope versus crossing the river :)
Thanks so much Linda, Chuck and all the volunteers, both from Extreme-O and GA Cup!!
Look forward to the pics!
