I maintained this from the start, that I thought the model would have been extremely important for Friday's racing. The elites that spoke to me about problems on Friday did not visit the model before going out that day.

I do not wish to be imperious, but I would not have changed anything significant about the course. It was meant to be hard, and people need to do their homework, including using the model and all other legitimate information.

Which course are you speaking of? I did not observe any faults with the either the middle or the long.

The middle. And not really faults, just perhaps philosophical differences with two people I respect.

I thought the middle was wonderful fun. I was glad I got a quick spin on the warm-up area, not having been out on the model, but didn't feel like I was at a particular disadvantage. The map was great. I felt at times the mid-green was easier running than the light green, but that was more pleasant surprise than annoying.

I would have liked one leg in the middle to have been 800m+.
