With crazy schedules and our late entry into the events calendar I'm looking to the AR community to help spread the word about the upcoming Toronto Rogaine being hosted by Toronto Orienteering Club.
If you are going to sign up but haven't yet it would be great if you could do so. It's a big event to organize and having numbers in early will make a big difference.

Thank you!!

Would it be possible to add a little more concrete info to the website?
I know of myself and 2 other potential teams who'd like to take part, but need to know exactly what sort of 'human powered equipment' we may need to organise beforehand - in particular, stuff that fits into the 'paddling category'.

Ah! Excellent point Pat-hectic. Given that the Scotia marathon is happening the same day, I think we're going to avoid that neck of the woods. In other words - no paddling. Your best bet is to have a bike handy. I'll see if I can get this clarified on the website ASAP though so it's official and racers can organize gear.
I appreciate this feedback. As a first time around for us it's good to know what questions are out there.

Thanks DDon11! Appreciate the help!

Wait, bike? I thought this was on-foot only, other than transit. Oops. If you do get that part of the gear clarified, please let us know if this will require a mtb, because that would kind of me over. :) All I have to work with is my trusty commuter. And my even trustier two feets.

Meant to write "<blank> me over." I censored out my own censored word, ha.

Bike is an option. MTB or road bike is optional. Some areas will be bike prohibitive and you'd have to go by foot. I think it will be a strategic decision whether people use bikes or TTC for the longer distance legs.

I am so ridiculously excited for this. Thanks for all the work. If you guys need help that is not course-revealing, let me know.
