You've still got more than 2 weeks of prescription left I presume? (If not amazing Dr Mom can sort you out). I would have thought that would deal with it no problem.

I can't believe how many ticks there are this year. I found one randomly crawling around my apartment last week, so I hope he hadn't been hooked on to either me or the kitties at any point. I cut him in half with scissors and it felt very good.

Yeah, I still have 17 days of doxycycline left; it seems like an adequate solution for now. I hope your symptoms are not Lyme!

My case of Lyme disease is so bad, when I drank some lemonade it turned into Sprite.
My case of Lyme disease is so bad that ticks don't bite me for fear of getting it.
My dose of doxycycline is so high that I lit a match and got a sunburn.
I was really ticked off when I learned that I had Lyme disease.

Ian I hope you are not encephalitic :) After one week of "doxy", you can exercise normally.

I hate ticks too. I hated them when I found six of them on me after one meet, I hate them on you, and I hate them on my pets. A very ticky year. I'm glad you're taking care of yourself and feeling better.

Gazillion ticks due to unusually warm winter. I once found 50+ little buggers on me, primarily on my O socks. Had to dispose of those in a fiery manner... My solution is to avoid O-ing in summer months. Get well soon!!!
