While enjoying the GAOC hospitality and in between races, I enjoyed getting a chance to practice my one-time hobby this weekend. I'll be loading more, but I have Friday and Saturday pictures posted here:

Please excuse the exposure on some---runners in bright sun on the sprints and in patchy light in the forest during the Long made for a difficult combination. A decent photo editing program can improve them significantly if you download and spend the time. A bunch are in not such good focus as I was aiming for an action bigfoot picture while panning, rather than trying to get everyone looking neat and perfect. Some of you mnaged to look good anyway :)

I have now posted more than 300 photos including over 200 from motion-sensitive cameras placed at controls during the middle and long.

Thanks Mike and Sergey. I enjoyed your shots too Mike. I had no idea there were motion sensor cameras on the course--cool!

I'll be posting more tonight if all goes well. There are a lot from all 3 days. I did tag them by the date so you can search tags on the date such as 04-14-2012 to see just the Saturday shots. Tagging by name would have been nice but there are just too many for me to do it.

Thanks, I am trying to add names to more of mine but that will take some time. Feel free to contribute.

Most of the cameras did pretty well, but the one between the Saturday "GO control and finish did not get many good shots and had over 100 shots (which I did not post) of empty woods. I think what happened is competitors running toward the camera were generally moving too quickly and passed out of view before the camera tripped.
