I'll be using this thread leading up to the event to post exciting bits of information about O-Fest that doesn't warrant it's own thread but that we still want to share with you all.

In this case it's the fact that we've just heard from Trimtex that they are donating 15 Speed LZR O-Shirts, bringing us to over $1000 worth of prizes / draw prizes from Trimtex, Inov-8, GU, and O-store.ca. Thanks guys!

Never been to an "A-meet" before?
We've changed the price structure for the recreational events - in your favour! The new prices are $10 for adults and $5 for juniors (20 and under). Children 12 and under are free. Groups are $15.
Pair that with the free orienteering clinics on Saturday and Sunday morning and I can't think of a better way to experience the atmosphere at your first multi-day event!

We just received 16 of those gorgeous Trimtex shirts! Race well at O-Fest and who knows, you just might walk away wearing one of them. You can see a few photos here.

We're madly working to update as much of the La PĂȘche map being used for the long as possible. We're using new lidar contours from Gatineau Park and the results are amazing:

I fear I'll be so busy admiring the new map I won't be able to orienteer!
